Offenbach (dpa/lrs) – The people in Rhineland -Palatinate and in Saarland have to prepare for cold days and even colder nights. The German Weather Service expects a maximum of 2 to 6 degrees today. The fog often lasts until noon until the sun in the two countries is more common.
In the night of Tuesday, fog spread out again in areas, but it stays dry. The temperatures drop to minus 3 to minus 7 degrees. In places there is a risk of smoothing.
Tuesday itself remains foggy or covered all day, otherwise often cheerful to sunny. The maximum values are 3 to 6 degrees, in the fog by 0 degrees. Even in the following nights, there is often a risk of smoothing in terms of minus degrees.
On Wednesday, the fog often lasts longer, the DWD then expects some clouds with drizzle. From the afternoon it should be friendlier. The daily maximum values are between 3 and 7 degrees. It stays similarly cold on Thursday – it rains more often. One or the other snowflake also comes down in higher altitudes.
