The start list for the 1st women’s Super-G in St. Moritz 2024

All eyes will be on Lindsey Vonn in the Alpine ski women’s Super-G double this weekend. The American is returning to the Ski World Cup at the age of 40 and will make her much-discussed comeback at the Super-G in St. Moritz. The American competes with a partial knee prosthesis. The start is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.

Hütter starts eighth

The race, in which Vonn’s compatriot Mikaela Shiffrin is still missing due to injury, will be started by the Frenchwoman Laura Gauche. Roberta Melesi, Kira Weidle-Winkelmann and Romane Miradoli then start. Then comes local hero Corinne Suter, the first Swiss athlete. She is followed by the two favorites Lara Gut-Behrami and Sofia Goggia. Cornelia Hütter is the first Austrian to start eighth. Kajsa Vickhoff Lie drew the nine, Federica Brignone from Italy completed the top ten.

Vonn starts in the top 30

The next ÖSV runners are Mirjam Puchner (11th), Stephanie Venier (15th), Ariane Rädler (19th), Christina Ager (27th), Nina Ortlieb (32nd) and Lisa Grill (34th). Magdalena Egger (36th), Michelle Niederwieser (37th) and Ricarda Haaser (43rd) complete the ÖSV offer. Tamara Tippler, who still sees a need to catch up after her maternity leave and recently skipped the overseas races in Beaver Creek, is not at the start.

As usual for wildcarders, Lindsey Vonn enters the race with start number 31. Then it will become clear what form the American is currently in.
