Sean Bean, Mackenzie Foy & Odeya Rush To Star In Western

EXCLUSIVE: Following the success of their Western Old Henrywhich the National Board of Review named one of the Top Ten Independent Films of 2021, Hideout Pictures is back in the saddle with The Isolate Thiefa new Western to star Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings franchise), Mackenzie Foy (Interstellar), and Odeya Rush (Lady Bird).

Directed by John Suits (3022), the film is set at the close of the US Civil War, as a young woman struggles to conceal the gold she stole from a group of violent outlaws who have seized control of her remote outpost. As the men relentlessly hunt for the treasure, she must outwit and deceive the ruthless bandits at every turn. Amid a deadly winter, survival transforms into a perilous game of cunning and betrayal.

Suits called the film “a story about resilience, survival, and the strength it takes to outlast the harshest odds—both from nature and humanity,” adding, “I am thrilled to be working with such an incredible cast, as well as the team that brought Old Henry to life. Together, we’re crafting a western that’s as thrilling as it is emotionally gripping, and I can’t wait for audiences to see it unfold.”

Kevin Lefler scripted The Isolate Thiefwith Shannon Houchins (Old Henry, Greedy people), Vince Jolivette (Zola, The Disaster Artist), Travis Mann (Reagan), and Margaret Miller producing. Exec producers include Dave Roberts and Potsy Ponciroli, who wrote and directed Old Henrystarring Tim Blake Nelson.

A two-time BAFTA winner known for his work in the Lord of the Rings franchise, as well as the hit series game of Thrones and SnowpiercerBean recently wrapped on the anticipated anemonebringing Daniel Day-Lewis out of retirement. Other upcoming projects include BBC’s Liverpool-set crime drama This City Is Ours; biopic The Yellow Tie on Romanian conductor Sergiu Celibidache; Duncan Jones’ Rogue Troopers; and Prime Video’s actioner Deep covers.

Most recently starring in Disney+’s Black Beauty and Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four RealmsFoy is also known for turns in films like Interstellar, The Conjuringetc The Twilight Saga.

Notable credits for Rush include such acclaimed films as Ummah, Cha Cha Real Smooth, Pink Skies Aheadetc Lady Bird.

In addition to the sci-fi pic 3022starring Omar Epps, Kate Walsh, and Angus Macfadyen, Suits has directed Breach starring Bruce Willis and Pandemic starring Rachel Nichols, Alfie Allen and Missi Pyle, among other films.
