Three years ago they vowed eternal love: actor Tom Barcal (“Everything that counts”) and singer Stefanie Black tied the knot in November 2021. Now everything is over – the marriage has failed!

The reason? “We realized that the age difference was too big,” explains Barcal. The 34 years between them became more and more of a problem as time went on. “My attitude to life hasn’t changed, but at that age it’s normal for Stefanie to develop differently,” said the actor.

Tom Barcal: Trouble caused by separation at sea

Another sticking point: Stefanie Black works on a cruise ship for several months a year. “She loves cruise life – more than life at home,” says Barcal.

“She wants to enjoy cruise life for a while and then have children and family – unfortunately that doesn’t coincide with my future plans.” The result: hardly any time together, more and more conflicts.

The break became obvious when Barcal spent Christmas Eve without Stefanie by his side – instead he celebrated with his sister and son Marvin (28). Barcal and his Stefanie haven’t appeared together in public for a long time.

“We have different ideas when it comes to relationships, but we are still very friendly with each other,” says Barcal.

Stefanie Black, on the other hand, is cryptic. The singer only commented on the separation with a short post on Instagram: She shared a media report about the end of the marriage and wrote: “Now it is known…”

Review: Shortly before the wedding The lovers even had a joint tattoo. Since then, Stefanie has worn the name “Tom” with a heart on her wrist. On Tom’s wrist, in addition to the nickname “Steffi”, there is also the name of his son Marvin.

Barcal wants to move out of the shared apartment in January 2025. He has a television team accompany the new section – for a documentary.
